PostSubject: MU under new owner   Wed Nov 11, 2009 3:54 am

Ok, guys it is official. I am now running the joint at MU. Currently Terry and I worked out a monthly deal for now. We are still negotiating a full purchase price. For now I am being told that I should be able to do what I have done here. I do have some changes in mind at MU.

As for this site I am going to keep it up until I completely pick up MU. No sense in getting rid of this one quite yet. It is a good learning process for me. Honesty I kind of like this site. As the members start coming in then I can buy credits to increase the capacity size of the site. I could also freeze membership before it gets that far. Figure there was some catch. For as many members as we have now it is not necessary to purchase credits.

I don’t know guys I’m kind of proud of the site. It is making me want it. We shall see.

Congrates on the MU pickup. I would like to offer up some help modding for you as your time is now going to be tight with the running of the shop. As for this site you should let it stand for now, at least until it starts to cost money.

Thank you Magna. I was going on there tonight. Man, 2 forum is going to keep me plenty busy. Thank you for the offer of your assistance. Let me settle down at MU before I start making decisions. Price for MU is still under negotiation and it won't feel like a true ownership until the site is switch over to me completely.

I don't think that is what he really meant. I have to agree with the problems the last month. I wasn't happy about it either. It turned out to be a mess.

I was just kidding with him anyway. Smile

Ya, MU hasn't really been the same since. At least to me, seems like we were all a somewhat tight group until all that went down. And by tight I mean as much as that is possible on the net. Although I have met a lot of good people from there.

Also, being the king of getting off topic, do you have a build thread for the frisco chopper over there? I remember seeing some pics but couldn't remember how detailed it was. I was just wondering cause that is right up my alley of what I would like to attempt someday.

Yeah, all of the Frisco build is on MU. It is under Restoration. I'm going to have to change it to a Chopper thread.

Sorry bout that , the Sheep comment actually came from someone who was stirring crap at MU when he called all of us sheep . It really wasn't directed at anyone, it was sorta a backhanded snicker at the person who called me and a few other of us trouble making renegades who don't follow rules. Oh and C.D . welcome aboard,

Gabe is mod of the BOTM forum. He only has permission for that forum only. Don't think anything he did would cause this mess. It all started when my account was deleted. Trust me I did not delete it by accident. I only remove my status as a Gobal Mod and when I did the system deleted both my Gobal Mod and Admin accounts.

I have been talking with VS and he tells me that there has been an existing issue before I took over. Right now we have some major issues and we might have to back up the forum and start all over. affraid This could take time.

If it does I would be able to manually put in your post count in as long as you remember how many you had. Around about figure is fine. I reseted my post back to where it was right about the same time MU went down. Go figure. Basketball
